How much AI slop is on your site?

Paste your URL. We render it and flag every AI-slop tell: indigo→violet gradients, wall-to-wall Inter, rule-of-three cards, hollow buzzwords, annotated in place, with the why and the fix.

What it checks

The registry currently holds 39 active fingerprints across nine dimensions. The full list, with the reasoning and a fix for each, is on the AI slop tells page.

How it works

  1. Paste a URL — No login, and nothing to install on your page.
  2. We render and scan it — 39 fingerprints judged against real DOM and computed styles, not guessed and not asked of a model.
  3. Read the itemised report — Every hit comes with the evidence, why it reads as AI, and the specific fix.

Questions

What counts as AI slop?

Not "bad" — "default". It is the statistical average a model emits wherever nobody made a decision: the indigo gradient, wall-to-wall Inter, three equal cards, hollow empowerment verbs. The page works; it just reads as though nobody was home.

Does it detect whether a page was AI-generated?

No. It detects design defaults. A hand-written page can trip these rules — that just means nobody ruled on those spots — and a carefully edited AI-generated page can score low.

How is the score calculated?

index = hit weight / total active rule weight × 100, weighting high signals 3, medium 2, low 1. Above 50 reads as typical AI slop, 25 and up has a machine-made tinge, below 25 is clean.
